Farming and Conservation

​My business provides practical integrated advice on wildlife, habitat and landscape scale management to farmers and other land managers, conservation organisations and government departments across a range of farming and land management systems. 
I am a member of ScotFWAG, the Scottish Farming and Wildlife Advisers' Group, that promote high quality farm conservation advice, exchange knowledge and collaborate on projects and policy discussions.

​I live and run my business Farming and Conservation from my smallholding. Brought up on a mixed farm I have over 25 years experience in farm conservation advisory work. Particular interests include creating habitats for pollinators, peatland restoration and collaborative projects across farms to manage habitats on a large scale.  I am a Member of the Chartered Institute of Ecologists and Environmental Managers (MCIEEM) and registered as a Chartered Environmentalist with the Society for the Environment (CEnv).
